Cloth Options

There are two main types of cloth used on pool tables, each manufactured differently, offering unique benefits that affect how the balls move and the overall gameplay.

Both cloth types cater to different play styles, with wool cloth prioritising control and speed cloth emphasising faster, more aggressive gameplay.

Wool Cloth (Napped Cloth)

• Enhanced Ball Control: The wool surface creates a nap that improves control over the ball, allowing for more precise shot-making.
• Slower Pace: The nap adds friction, slowing down the ball's speed, which is ideal for players focused on strategic play and finesse.
• Familiarity for Snooker Players: Its texture is similar to snooker table cloth, making it the preferred choice for those who enjoy that style of play.

Speed Cloth (Wool-Nylon Blend)

• Faster Gameplay: Designed for speed, this cloth offers a smooth surface with minimal friction, allowing for quicker ball movement.
• Durability: The wool-nylon blend makes it tougher and more resistant to wear and tear, ensuring longevity even with heavy use.

Delivery

Delivery time 4-7 weeks

FREE mainland England & Wales delivery and installation (excluding Cornwall), to ground floor home or premises, given standard conditions.  

For Scotland, the Highlands and Islands, and Cornwall please contact us.

We will discuss your delivery at the time of order to ensure a smooth process.

When your table is ready we will contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date.  

If tables are needed in upstairs or basement locations then additional manpower may be required and costs will vary so please contact us.

Please check that the table can fit in your property and ensure there is clear access.

Difficult access doesn't necessarily mean we cannot install, but we may have to advise a different table is used or flat pack and reassemble once taken to the room.
